Good news for Wyoming's hospitality industry: WSLA, with funding and support from the Wyoming Liquor Division, is continuing to provide free TIPS training materials to certified trainers statewide.
What's Available
We supply manuals for two curriculums: On-Premise (for all retail employees) and Concessions (for events and venues). Materials are shipped at no cost to trainers, provided the training is free to students.
Becoming a Trainer
Interested in becoming a TIPS trainer? The certification process is now available online at gettips.com. The initial cost is $499, with an annual renewal of $75 per 18 months.
There are currently 56 certified TIPS trainers across Wyoming. If your area doesn't have one, consider becoming certified or pooling resources with neighboring establishments.
